Can I order just one box?

AB-SO-LU-TELY! (Though you would be in the minority) ;)

To purchase one box with no additional commitment, just select the box you want from our online store. You can view all our boxes available for individual purchase here.

Should you later choose to register for a subscription to take advantage of receiving the same boxes at a discount with free shipping to US destinations, the system will have a record of every box you've already received that are purchased with the same email account.

If you've bought the Intro box individually and you sign up for a subscription, please put that in your order notes so the team makes sure you don't get a duplicate!

When will my box ship?

The first box in a subscription usually ships out the next business day. Individual boxes and products generally ship within 2-5 business days. We try to ship as quickly as possible, however during holidays or large sales, we are unable to expedite orders and ask that you plan accordingly.

Monthly boxes billed on the 1st ship on a rolling basis during the first two weeks of the month.

You'll get a tracking number emailed to you as soon as your box leaves our warehouse. Please note that the USPS may not update the tracking numbers for up to a week especially during peak times.

PLEASE NOTE: All major carriers, including the USPS, are experiencing slowdowns and we are not able to influence how quickly they deliver your boxes- once it leaves our warehouse, it's out of our control. International shipments are unfortunately taking 1-2 months to arrive due to customs backlogs.

Once a box has shipped, we have the exact same information you do- what is displayed on the tracking screen. We therefore can't tell you when it will arrrive, why it was delayed, have it re-routed or forwarded. If your box is lost in transit to a US destination (i.e. there has been no movement on the tracking for two weeks), we can file a claim with the USPS and reship your items. 

If your box shows as Delivered but you did not receive it, the best thing to do is contact your local USPS office to ask them for the GPS scan where it was delivered. They will not provide us with that information as it's considered private to the recipient. In cases of loss or theft where we are notified within 2 weeks of delivery, we offer a one-time replacement box at 50% off (which is basically us splitting the loss with you). 

How can I cancel or pause my account?

To cancel your subscription, simply log into your account, go to the "My Subscription" tab and set your status to "Inactive."  If you simply want to delay when your next box will ship, select the month of your choice from the "Next Box" field. You will receive an automatic confirmation email for your records for either selection after you save your changes.

Please be sure to cancel or delay your next shipment by the last day of the month. Once your account is billed, the shipment can not be cancelled. Your label prints directly to the warehouse at the time of billing along with tens of thousands of other boxes so, while we would love to help, we simply can't locate your specific label and stop it from shipping.

Do you accept returns?

Due to the nature of the products we send, we are unable to accept returns on entire boxes or individual products, even if unused. This is a promise we make to all our customers so you can have complete confidence that nothing you receive will have been inside someone else's home. It's also the law. If we ship you something in error, send us a picture of what you receievd and we'll send you a replacement free of charge.

If you know you want to return an item before you open it, you can write "return to sender" on the unbroken mailing label and give it back to the USPS- they return it to us free of charge. When we get it back, we will refund you what you paid less what we paid to ship it to you, which is usually around $15.

We put a lot of information on our site about the boxes, from pictures and descriptions to reviews and have a full team on staff to help you figure out which products and experiences you might enjoy. As such, we expect you to read the information available or ask us questions prior to making a purchase if you're unsure about what's involved and don't like surprises. 

If you've done all of the above and something still isn't right, please write us at info@thefantasybox.com and explain what happened. A little advice when you're asking for an exception...being nice and owning your part in the situation will get you a lot farther than being rude, dishonest or threatening. :)

Do you take requests?

Absolutely. We love hearing your ideas for fantasies. Best of all- if we create one based on your idea, you'll get the first one off the line, on us!

How can I customize my subscription?

It's really easy! 

If you are a current or former subscriber, just log in, click the "My Subscription" tab and click the "Choose Upcoming Boxes" link in the Subscription Boxes section between the 1st and 15th of the month. You will see two lists: Upcoming Boxes  (what you're set to receive) and Available Boxes (all the boxes that are available in the subscription).

- To remove a box from Upcoming Boxes, just click on the box name and hit the --> arrow.

- To add a box, find it in the Available Boxes list, click on the price tier you want, and click the <-- arrow.

- To rearrange the Upcoming Boxes list, click the box you want to reschedule and use the "Move Up" or "Move Down" buttons.

Be sure to click "Save Selections" at the bottom of the page when you are done. You'll get an email confirmation for your records.

I'm a Plus-size lady, do you work with lingerie for my figure?

Absolutely! We work with the top brands in plus-size lingerie to bring you the best styles on the market.

I am in a same-sex relationship, is there a Fantasy Box for me and my partner?

Absolutely!

Most of the role cards are written with "his" and "hers" instructions because using only "they" pronouns for both parties made things a bit confusing. If you are a lesbian couple and aren't offended by male pronouns, you'd decide who will be playing the "his" role that month (and, as with all the fantasies, we suggest you play at least twice so that each person can experience being in control of the experience). Please let us know you are both female and we'll make sure we only send you products you can use. :)

Unfortunately, we don't currently have a subscription offering for gay male couples as many of our boxes rely on lingerie and toys for her. We do offer our role cardsfor individual purchase, as well as a selection of products for men. If there is a box you are specifically interested in, just email us at info@thefantasybox.com and we'll see if we can help you customize it.

If I sign up for the Classic box, can I switch to Essentials or Platinum and vice versa?

Absolutely – again, we built our service around flexibility. You can change your tier at any time. Please be aware that there are fewer boxes available in Essentials and Classic than in Platinum. You'll see this reflected in your Upcoming Boxes when you process the tier change.

Can I change my frequency?

Yes! We know people get busy, go on vacations, etc… If you are on monthly and are getting busy at work or traveling, switch to every-other-month.

If you are on every-other-month and feeling the connection, switch to monthly. Please be sure to do this by the 1st of the month or, if you change after, just email us at info@thefantasybox.com and ask if we can process a box for you manually.

If you need to go longer between boxes, you can choose the specific month to resume deliveries.

All of this can be managed via the MyAccount>My Subscription tab.

When do I get billed?

When you sign up, we bill your card immediately and begin preparing your box.

Every month thereafter in which you will receive a box, we will bill your card on the first of the month. Once we bill you, the labels print directly to the warehouse and therefore cannot be cancelled. If you need to cancel, please do so before the last day of the month.

We're not able to accommodate customized billing dates at this time. However, if your card is declined on the 1st, we'll try again a few more times during the first couple weeks of the month.

Do you charge for shipping?

Shipping is FREE for subscriptions delivered to the United States and APO/DPO/FPO locations.

There is an additional charge of $39.95/box for subscriptions shipping to Canada and most other countries.

Individual boxes and products purchased through the online boutique are charged a flat $9.95 for United States deliveries and $39.95 for international deliveries.

Additional duties may be assessed for international deliveries based on the country of delivery's determination of value in the Customs clearance process. Please email us at info@thefantasybox.com for more information. 

How do you handle defective or missing products?

We hope you always receive products that work perfectly, however sometimes manufacturing defects do happen and we take them very, very seriously. 

If you received a damaged product, please write to us at info@thefantasybox.com and describe what the problem was and what you tried to fix it. Pictures of physical defects or incorrect sizes are a great help.

To be considered for a replacement, please be sure to report any issues with your delivery (defective, incorrect, missing products or non-delivery) within 30 days from the date your order was placed.

Is there anything I need to know before getting started?

We always suggest you think about what you're looking to experience and review the boxes we have available in our library to make sure you can avoid boxes you don't want. It makes for a great date night to do this with your partner!

Please be aware that all new subscriptions receive the Introduction box first- it ships automatically- but you can pick every box thereafter with our Box Choice feature.

Platinum boxes often contain rechargeable massagers. Please be aware that while many companies ship them with an inital charge, not all do (and we don't open them to verify because that would create a hygiene issue). So, you may want to allow a couple hours of lead time to get it ready to rock. :)

Does everyone get the same box in the same month?

Nope! Our service is "progressive"- meaning that the experience starts when you start. This way, we can expose you to new themes and gradually push your boundaries. Think of it like learning a new language- nobody wants to jump right to verb conjugation! Our process is designed to help you to discover things each other like, and sometimes don't like, on the way to building communication, closeness, and fun. Additionally, because we know what we've sent you, we never send you products we've sent before (I mean, really, who wants lubricant every month?). 

Now that you can choose every box (after the Intro box which ships automatically at the time you subscribe), you can REALLY go crazy :)

What makes the Fantasy Box different/special?

Think about one of your fantasies- we all have them. Does it simply involve a toy? Probably not. It's a scenario. It can involve anticipation and excitement, romance and trust ,even a little danger or uncertainty. The Fantasy Box is a service that seeks to fulfill those fantasies. While we may not be able to facilitate a few of the crazy ones, we promise we have come up with some stuff you haven't thought of - or better yet, HAVE thought of and not yet tried. 

The Fantasy Box is much more than simply items in a box- it's a series of 'choreographed' experiences- with each month having a unique theme and instructions for each of you to follow to make it happen. For us, the products- even though they are fantastic- are just the "how." What really matters is what's happening between the two of you…
