The Subscription Box: The Fantasy Box
The Cost: You can choose to receive your boxes monthly, or every other month. The cost is $159 for the Platinum Box (5-7 products), $59 for the Classic Box (4-6 products), or $34 for the Essentials Box (3-4 products). This is a review of the Platinum Box.
The Products: 5-7 luxury products from high-end brands. With the Platinum Box, you also get to customize your experience, including lingerie colors, toy preferences, fantasy progression, etc.

The first thing I noticed about the Fantasy Box was that it came in a completely inconspicuous brown box. The second thing I noticed was that the actual, red-and-black box was extremely high-quality and even had a magnetic closure.
The goal of the Fantasy Box is to turn the box into an intimate date night for you and your partner. It comes with informational cards and questionnaires to help the two of you communicate and give you step-by-step direction to help you live out a fantasy. This month’s theme is “Leader & Follower.”
There are two part to the box: The “For Him” and “For Her” cards are surveys with questions about preferences, attitudes towards, and likes/dislikes regarding sex. The second part is the actual role playing of the fantasy. The white instructional card helps you approach the box in an open and positive way, and even suggests you talk with your partner about your answers over a romantic dinner.
Sex & Mischief Satin Black Blindfold – Value: $6.99
This blindfold is a necessity with the box’s theme of leader/follower. It’s soft and is a nice item to be used on its own or even with future Fantasy Boxes.

Nylon Sheer Thigh Highs with Lace Top by Leg Avenue – Value: $9.50
I’m very glad that the Fantasy Box includes many organic and natural products – which seems especially important when it comes to intimate products like personal lubricant! This Sliquid Organics Lubricating Gel is glycerin- and paraben-free, hypoallergenic, and vegan-friendly.
Don’t Stop Massage Candle by Booty Parlor – Value: $36
The scent of this candle is a lovely Sandalwood Vanilla. This is a soy candle, made of a blend of shea butter, vitamin E, aloe vera, jojoba, and coconut oil and is paraffin-, paraben-, and dye-free. To use, you burn the candle until a pool of oil forms. Then, you blow out the candle and pour the warm massage oil onto your partner. I’m glad they made an effort to make sure that the oil isn’t just a bunch of chemicals and is actually good for your skin!
Here’s a close up of the candle. The porcelain feels very high quality and it has a convenient pour spout.
Regal Romance Stain and Metallic Lace Chemise by DreamGirl – ~ $40
I couldn’t find this exact set from Dream Girl Direct, so I estimated the price from similar sets and listings for this set elsewhere. The quality of this chemise is actually very nice! It’s soft and feels comfortable, plus I love the removable straps at the bottom to clip onto thigh highs (which works well, since a set of thigh highs came in the box!).
MiMi by Je Joue – Value: $89
This vibrator is made with seamless, 100% body safe silicon (which means it’s phthalate-free), waterproof, and runs quietly. It also features a 3-button design that helps you control the 5 power levels and 6 different pulse patterns. It’s obvious that this is a very high-quality product.
The MiMi is comes in a really nice box for itself. It’s rechargeable, which I’m sure can probably be frustrating considering you would have to sit and wait for it to charge when it runs down instead of simply replacing the batteries. The charger that comes with it is proprietary, and it connects magnetically. However, I know that the rechargeable feature exists to ensure complete and trouble-free waterproof functionality.
Verdict: Overall, I was very impressed with the Fantasy Box. They don’t feel gimmick-y at all, the products could all be permanent additions to your sexual experiences on their own, and I really appreciate their focus on actually enhancing a relationship through their service. I love that it included organic products that are free of any parabens or harmful chemicals. The cost of the Platinum box is $159 and the products within the box are valued at just under $200, so I’m happy with the value.
